Craft room week continues and so does the organization.
I needed storage for:
- My fabric
-My paint brushes
- Markers/pens
- glue sticks and other misc.
-My inspiration magazines
So, here were my solutions.
First, my fabric needed a place to be and I wanted to see them. Sometimes I forget what fabric I actually have so to have them visible, yet organized was my goal.
I took a shoe rack that used to hold my shoes. My new closet already has built in shoe racks so I had my old shoe rack just waiting to be used.
I draped my fabric over it and now I can see all my fabric and it is organized.
There is also room for more fabric. Room to grow!
Now, my solution for my smaller items like paint brushes, markers and gluesticks.
I had this decorative piece with hooks for a while and it was black.
I painted it Ivory white and also painted some old pails to match.
I love picking up magazines that inspire me in decorating my home or crafting. I have collected many over the years and still refer back to them. I also love having them visible in my room as well as my crafty books.
So, my solution to organize them and display them.
I took an old ladder that I have had for years. I painted it green to match my room and draped my magazines over the rods of the ladder. I simply leaned it up against my FUN wall.
I am completely organized now and I used items that I already had to do it. Over all, I spent money on the paint for my room and some decorative wall items and that was it.
Everything else I had!!!
So thrifty, So organized and So La-Dee-Da!!!
